I think the most iconic moment is Neds death. No one (except the people who read the books) saw it coming (in any other tv show he would live and rule Westeros) but they just killed him and everyone realised that this show is not playing around and they're going to kill even peoples favorite characters.

I just realized Sansa is in a really good position. If it's true that Cersei is planning to set KL on fire , she'll be one of the most powerful figures in Westeros because of her hold on the North (that is, given that Littlefinger doesn't pull anything).

But some parts were embarrasing

Come on, Rickon running and Ramsay effortlessly kill him, but when Jon Snow is attacked with raining arrows nobody can touch him.

The Kalessi scene was the same old trick. She and her friends are in danger and her dragons save the day (once again).

I love Sansa, i love Tormund, and the scene when Sansa educates Jon

During his conversation with Melisandre, she told him there was a reason for his return, that the lord of light had a plan for him. Maybe there is something to the legend of Azor ahai and maybe he is it and the lord is protecting him? I'm pretty sure that's why the showrunners made him seem so "immune". Whether or not the legend is true is not important, they want the audience to think Jon is like this messiah type character.

And yeah, she has Dragons. She can't be beat. Wouldn't make sense if the masters won. Like.. what did you expect them to do against 3 dragons?

The fact she has dragons and nobody can't defeat her doesn't mean we need the same exact scene again and again. The previous season the same characters were saved and Kalessi left flying with her dragon.

It looked amazing, good CGI but nothing more.

The heroes aren't intersting if they don't have a good enemy.

I need Dany vs Lannisters.

I thought the prophecies revealed by Maggy were different from the TV series and the books? If I recall correctly, didn't the TV series omit the part where Cersei was said to be killed by a little brother? The TV series only revealed that she would marry Robert, be replaced by a younger queen and her children will die before her. I'm not ruling out the possibility that Cersei's fate would be met based on the books, but considering the TV series has its own differences, Cersei's death could be anything at this point.

I need Dany vs Lannisters.

It's not the exact same though. She's used her dragons to attack before and she's ridden on Drogon before, but she never did both at the same time. This shows how in control she is. She's gone into battle with them, that's a big deal.

But she handled this fight strategically. She had the horde attack the gates, she and her dragons attacked the fleet and Grey worm made an example out of the masters. So now she's scared them into submission, the fleet is hers and the city is free. All without pulling a Mad King move, which she could have done easily.

TV prophecy wasn't the same as the book prophecy, that's why I doubt that Cersei will die in this season.
Plus both her brothers are far away, so her death will be different

The only reason those Knights of the Vale aren't flinging him from the Moon Door in the Eyrie for murdering Lysa is because Sansa lied to keep him alive.

The Royces and the rest of the Houses of the Vale are loyal to The Arryns and Lysa's murder hinges on Sansa's word. So he better thread his ass lightly around her.

Is no one else bothered by how quickly Yara and Theon were able to sail from the west edge of Westeros, halfway across the world to Mereen in just 3 episodes? The timing just seems off.

They've always made time look like a tricky thing. You never really know how much time has passed between each episode. I just don't question it

I didn't really bother me. What else could the creators have shown in the voyage to Mereen? Theon and Yara stopping at more bars? I like that they got to the point. It wasn't anything exhausting or dragged out like Arya's entire storyline this season.
