Well luckily Justin already went #1 for two weeks.

Actually it already did better without being released.

I agree.

Mess at France being ahead of the other countries for once
Because believe me a lot of countries are going to follow this formula once sales are pathetic like in France.

I'm curious to see their formula for the top album because physical album sales in France are the strongest in Europe after the UK.

For this week:
1. Drake f/ WizKid & Kyla – One Dance: 2.88 million units / 150 = 19.2k
2. Sia f/ Sean Paul – Cheap Thrills: 2.47 million units (incl. 1.96 million streams) / 150 = 16.5k
3. Justin Timberlake – Can't Stop the Feeling: 2.2 million units (incl. 4.8k downloads) / 150 = 14.7k
4. Kungs – This Girl: 1.89 million units / 150 = 12.6k
5. Desiigner – Panda: 1.73 million units / 150 = 11.5k
6. Imany – Don't Be So Shy
7. Mike Posner – Took a Pill in Ibiza: 1.57 million units / 150 = 10.5k
8. Calvin Harris f/ Rihanna – This Is What You Came For: 1.47 million units / 150 = 9.8k
9. Alan Walker – Faded: 1.31 million units / 150 = 8.7k
10. Deorro f/ Elvis Crespo – 1.3 million units (incl. 2.6k downloads & 904k streams) / 150 = 8.7k
20. Zara Larsson – Lush Life: 0.98 million units / 150 = 6.5k
21. Céline Dion – Encore un soir: 0.913 million units (incl. 3.1k downloads & 451k streams) / 150 = 6.1k
26. Maître Gims – Ma beauté: 0.865 million units (incl. 1.8k downloads & 600k streams) / 150 = 5.8k
38. Jul – Émotions: ~0.79 million units (incl. 1.6k downloads & 550k streams) / 150 = 5.3k vs. ~900 pure sales w/o streaming at #38
Their methology is obviously very laughable. Ugh, what I wouldn't do for the BPI to take over.
Now, let's wait what they're up to with the albums chart.

You're doing it wrong, One Dance sold 2.7K this week not 19.2K.
This is the Top 3's sales and streams:
1. Drake - One Dance: 2,880,000 units | 2.47m streams | 2,733 sales
2. Sia - Cheap Thrills: 2,470,000 units | 1.96m streams | 3,400 sales
3. Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop the Feeling: 2,220,000 units | 1.50m streams | 4,800 sales
To get sales subtract the streaming from total units, and then with the remainder you divide by 150 to get sales.
One Dance: 2.88m units - 2.47m streams = 410,000 units / 150 = 2,733 sales
To get streams multiply sales by 150 and subtract that total from the unit total.
One Dance: 2,733 * 150 = 410,000 | 2.88M - 410K = 2.47M streams
If they don't give streams or sales of a song, there's no way to know how much of its units are streams or sales.

I love it! Why? Look at digital sales / streaming revenue forecast:
In 2020 really noone will buy digital tracks. Why should we convert current way of consumpction into dead format?

I think the 19k number is accurate, he divided the streaming number by 150 if I'm not wrong (and the sales too since they're combined but since they were already multiplied by 150 this doesn't change anything)?

Yeah but that unit they use is completely dumb, how can we add it/compare it to other countries' system?

Units = streams + sales multiplied by 150 (note that only sales are multiplied). You can just divide the units figure by 150 to get sales.
#38 sold 1.6k downloads this week.
1.6k[pure sales] * 150=240k + 550k[streams] = 790k units divided by 150 = 5.3k sales.

It says here One Dance sold 2.7K, and CSTF! sold 4.8K?

Drake is unbeatable. For the sixth consecutive week, the Canadian rapper dominates the classification of securities in France merged with "One Dance" , with a total consumption of 2.88 million units, virtually unchanged over a week. The rapper is widely leader in streaming (2.47 million plays) but still trails side sales (2700 downloads). It is again followed by Sia, he dethroned it six weeks ago and refuses to leave the second position. "Cheap Thrills" point to 2.47 million units (+ 2%), of which 1.96 million streams. The Australian singer ahead of Justin Timberlake , third for the second consecutive week with "Can not Stop The Feeling" , down but again sales leader with 4,800 downloads.

And "Panda" is #20 on iTunes, so how could it be #5 in sales. Also One Dance is #5 on iTunes, and is selling 2x less than CSTF! so how could it be #1 in sales.

Haribo? He said that final # was actual sales.

That's why I posted the method of getting the actual sales.
My bad if I misunderstood something, though.

Panda is #21 on the downloads chart this week. It's #5 on the new chart with 1.73 millions units, which include downloads & streams.

We're not gonna say that a song racked up X points, so we have to divide so those points to get sales. By "actual sales," I didn't mean "pure sales."
You clearly did, but it's not a big deal. Your fave holds the most popular song of the week in France - be happy!

Oh okay. My mistake.
So are they gonna change certifications or no since streaming is gonna let the numbers rise almost 10x as much weekly for some songs?
And is the album chart with streams now too?

No clue about changing thresholds but streams are now taken into account for certifications, yes.
No, neither is the singles chart, actually. All we have so far is the methodology for songs and the numbers I posted. But they did say streams were going to count toward the albums chart, too.
Let's wait & see.

The formula is actually great
Is it the first week it's on? I'd love to see the chart moves between the last week without streaming and the first one with

The albums chart now takes into account streaming with a methodology that's gonna boost album sales.
Here's an example:
Track 1: 376k
Track 2: 254k
Track 3: 345k
Track 4: 865k
Track 5: 147k
Track 6: 506k
Track 7: 1786k
Track 8: 474k
Track 9: 841k
Track 10: 346k
Track 11: 103k
Track 12: 401k
= 6,445,000
minus 50% of the biggest track's streams -- 1786k / 2 = 893k
= 5,552,000
divided by 1000 -- 5,552,000 / 1000
= 5,552 (+ traditional album sales)
