It was airplay driven because gp already used the song before the song was actually released + album sold already a lot by then, as massive streams #s and great overall sales shows. That's why I think it would have been HUGE peak-wise if released as a 1st/2nd/3rd single.
The song had great longevity even before the lawsuit btw.
