Yeah, it is (or maybe highest selling female single). People are just refusing to accept facts. They're trying to say that because the streaming outweighed the sales, it's relevant . It's one of the reasons why I made that thread - 'Work' is one of the biggest songs from the streaming era, so far. It will end up being one of Rih's signature songs.

I think you should start from the beginning. People love to dismiss Rihanna first two albums/ eras as if they were catastrophes. Her debut may not have been massive but she was still seeing success (more success than these Disney girls are).

The sweet innocent island girl image she was portraying was basic but content wise the music was great.

What I love about Rih music more so than any other artist is her ability to fuse genres. She can never be boxed in to one sound.

- Also on her first two albums she played w her voice more. Although her voice wasn't as polished as it today she did runs and adlibs on tracks that imo were absent from her music up until UNA/ Anti

I would say listen to GGGB --> Rated R --> ANTI --> Unapologetic

I feel like that's the easiest way to digest her vast discog. Then go back and listen to the other albums (TTT --> LOUD --> MOTS --> AGLM).
