If Bernie ends up winning New Mexico and Hillary South Dakota, polling primaries in 2016 is officially dead (although it doesn't really matter because primaries are notoriously difficult to poll).
SD is already the 2nd most exciting and most shocking of the night and I can't name one city or landmark in SD unless that's where Mount Rushmore is located
I'm truly frightened if Trump rises to power as president. When he speaks I literally hear a dictator talking. He wants to take away peoples religious freedom by banning muslims. He wants to shut down the press taking away their 1st amendment right because he doesn't agree. He promotes racism against hispanic americans. He also gives no solutions to problems but just list everything he feels that is wrong. This man plays on people's fear and anger no different then a lot of previous dictators do. It is actually scary.
8 years ago today, on June 7, 2008, Hillary officially lost to Barack Obama, withdrew from the Democratic nomination, and gave her withdrawal speech. Today, she will make her victory speech for the Democratic nomination. It is rumored that President Obama may introduce her tonight in a symbolic show of Democratic party unity. Either way, tonight is historic for he Democratic Party. The first female nominee following right after the first African American nominee... It is a development we may never see in the rest of our lives tbh
Omg I had no idea about the date. We've come full circle
