Again: Billboard Hot 100 All Time List:

WFL: 25
SL: N/A

Not to mention We Found Love turned Calvin Harris into one of the biggest DJs.

It's obvious Single Ladies is more important and will be remembered more, it was a true cultural force

We Found Love didn't serve much of a purpose other than being a fun bop, it's value even 5 years later feels minimal...like a distant, faint memory

And no, single ladies is not as remembered as y'all want us to think

People may understand who you're referring to when you say "we found love in a hopeless place", but I'm saying that at least "Single Ladies" is impactful when it comes to SONG AND VISUALS. And what do you mean Single Ladies isn't remembered..? Single Ladies is very remembered, thats why we are talking about it, right?

A faint memory that just so happens to be the 25th biggest Billboard song.

Because a dance does a lot for a song. Look at MJ songs, or Madonnas Vogue, la Macarena etc. All those song have a dance on it and thats what made them iconic. You can't compare WFL to SL in that aspect because WFL doesn't have a dance on it.

And i don't really get the last part of what you said, like, what does a thread comparing two songs have to do with a song being remembered by the GP?

Why can Bey just never lose to some of you? She's winning with almost everything else, but you don't have to pretend Rihanna's career is some small irrelevance.

Single Ladies won because the song was very impactful too. Come on.. When the song comes on Radio, with the beat first playing, people automatically know it's Beyonce, or when you say "All the Single Ladies".

Single Ladies has an impactful SONG AND VISUALS. My point is you can do the dance quietly and people will say "Single Ladies". We Found Love doesn't have that visual. You just have to play the song.

 Right
You never hear about Single Ladies anymore, but We Found Love is one of the biggest and most important of the 2010s.

Yes, you can remember Single Ladies much quicker and more easily, but WFL's visuals have been repeated multiple times in the past few years, the video is a large part of its success.

I think the purposes of this thread is simply a "stan war" between Beyonce and Rihanna. However, as a neutral observer, "We Found Love" is undoubtedly the bigger song. "Single Ladies" finished at #99 for the 00s, while WFL is T3 so far for the 10s, and should at least finish T10.

Rihanna fans like yourself don't want We Found Love to be compared to Single Ladies because honestly, We Found Love song is just a bob and that's it. Single Ladies is a bob, plus it has an iconic dance, plus it has an iconic outfit to go along with it. Single Ladies beats out We Found Love no matter what, lol. x)

For its video yes. Not for its song, sales, all time lists etc. The stuff that really defines a classic.

Its not easy to imitate We Found Love though.. No one will understand who you're trying to imitate in 5 seconds if you were playing a guessing game. But all you gotta do for Single Ladies is flip your hand back and forth, or do the dance moves and people will get it.
