The geniuses behind this, and I use that term lightly, need to to take a long hard look at the mirror and see how they are contributing to society. Imagine if it were a black man being strangled by a white man, or a gay male being strangled by a hetero?
|
Does Rose McGowan know you can't see sexuality?
This perfectly sums up how stupid this is. You've got a serial pedophile/rapist directing the film and you're upset that a female action star portraying the average action star is somehow offensive to women? You can't make this up.

I'm happy about this, Hopefully this will help the film instdustry, and soon all films will stop containing fighting, and everything will be peaceful instead. Violence is evil and unnessicary, there's no reason for it to be in films, because they're just going to cause people to do evil things in real life and we need to be more peaceful
Sadly there's a lot of violence in movies (which I why I don't watch them) and I wish there wasn't This is definitely a step in the right direction.

Girl bye
GTFO
Soon people are gonna be like "chick films carry around too much emotional violence"
If you don't want action/horror
Go watch The muppets but be careful the Cookie Monster violently eats that might affect you
People like you need to realize none of this affects us! GO TO TUMBLR IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS

I mean... isn't that the point? Apocalypse doesn't give a fk what gender you are, he's trying to kill EVERYONE, and there is no one innocent.
But fine, cause hiding images of violence against woman is going to help women's support so much.

They used this image because it's Jennifer Lawrence, a very popular actress also an iconic mutant vs The main villain. It's a ****ing comic movie ffs.
Violence against women is wrong and evil, but I just can't see how this image is promoting it.
SWJs need to be stopped!

You can still have superhero movies, just take out the violent scenes. They can handle the situation maturely and talk it out peacefully instead of unnessicary violence.
You'd get a lot more character delvopement out of those scenes too, think about that, the hero wins because he's a good person and not because he's physically strong, and it teaches a lesson on what's really more important, that you're a good person.

Why are people making fun of me for wanting peace That's just who I am, and I'm not a troll, I've always had these beliefs, go ahead and read this post I made on my Instagram about it a few weeks ago https://www.instagram.com/p/BFnO7CzKWkJ/
Peace is something that's very important to me, we all need to be nice to each other.

Nobody would pay to see two and a half hours of superheroes and supervillains resolving their issues through peaceful dialogue. That's not exciting.
And what about zombie movies? You can't reason with a zombie. The only way to stop a zombie from killing you is to kill it first. In your ideal world, would those movies be abolished too?

They can run away and hide from the zombies without hurting them.

That was my favorite part of the film, seeing Mystique get her ass kicked thinking her puny little powers could beat Apocalypse. Let the real bad bitches deal with the big boys
