Mainstream artists like Beyonce need to work to get AOTY. Beyonce released the best album of her career - an album full of great songs and hits - and she's just letting it die quietly. She deserves to get completely snubbed.

Me too. Hopefully this is the year the Grammys are socially and culturally aware and they nominate Formation. The lyrics on the surface are weak but the meaning is really great. It has also had the biggest impact of of any song this year.

I think if All Night is released a single and it blows up, it can take all of Formation's possible noms. The possibilities are just personal wishes that could potentially happen but if Freedom is released as a single, it's basically guaranteed to win that award.

I don't understand when people say the Lemonade era is dying out. I'm not here for a 1989 era. It's dangerous overexposure especially for Beyoncé. This era is perfect. Drop an amazing album, go on tour, let the album sit with people their entire lives. Bam, exactly what should happen. People don't remember chart positions, they remember how you make them feel.

she can do SOMETHING without overexposure. like, an interview, magazine covers, maybe like ONE performance. (freedom is kinda perfect for award shows)

but since she's such a dominant cultural force that Taylor style of promotion isn't necessary and probably not feasible anymore
