Unfortunately no one's interested in boy groups anymore outside of Asia.

Kpop's synchro and all round excellence works so well with a survival show. It's so exciting!! Western boy groups are more band-y and to sing along at the top of your lungs for me and I would imagine an American version would be boring to watch.
