People fading from GP's attention don't come back each era to open with above 500K WW in pure sales with above-standard priced albums not to mention with an irregularly shorter tracking week.
A painter and a plumber are in the same basket but a singer does not fall in their basket. This is like you are trying to sell lemonade out of fresh coconut picked from Barbados instead of fresh lemons.
Or do you really associate art with fixing your toilet? Weak shade. Try harder.

Why are you taking this as shade? You're missing the point.
Cultural impact is not made on Pitchfork, or even on ATRL. Sure, those 500k are buying albums and no one is taking that away from Bey. But those albums are doing Bey a service by getting radio play - and don't come at me with facts about the BBC Radio 1 A List, etc. Let's see if Daddy Lessons is getting recurrent airplay in 2043 like Like A Prayer does in 2016, for instance. For many people, the most recent Bey song they know is Single Ladies from '09. Cultural impact is about getting to those people, who aren't checking for Metacritic scores.
