The Neon Demon is made by Nicolas Refn who made Drive so you know it's going to be a masterpiece (even Only God Forgives slays). No way I'm spoiling his godlike visuals in that trailer

Watched 10 Cloverfield Lane on my flight back from New York yesterday and wow The visuals once she escapes the bunker are beautiful! If only more of the outside world had been seen in the movie.

I think I remember some slander towards it on here but I loved it from start to finish, these are my type of movies.

It snatched my friend and I bald when we saw it in theaters. Definitely one of my favorite movie experiences lol. Can't wait to watch it again with her this weekend.

Just finished the Final Girls. In a weird way, for a movie that doesn't take itself seriously, it ends up taking itself seriously a lot - especially the whole Max/Her mom meta-bonding and how in theory they all died but end up making it to the sequel - Max and Chris kissing at the end and becoming a couple, Nina Dobrevs character apologizing for being the "mean girl" to her old friend that she distanced herself from, only to end up remember how much she misses her etc. etc.

I really liked it a lot thought. The end was a nice twist but I ended up just asking myself So they just have to continue until the anthology of sequels is finished up until the present time? Or is it just a cruel hell they're trapped in forever? I'm probably overthinking it, but you know a movies good when it really makes you ponder over your interpretation of it.

I thought it did a good job mixing humor and the tropes of the 80's horror flicks (80's synths, the music, outfits, etc.) and that ended up delivering.

Plus Taissa is amazing and I surprisingly liked Nina Dobrev, and the actors I didn't know too well were good in it too.

Probably an 8/10! Would definitley watch it again.

I loved it follows and the witch. Actually I think they're two of the best horror movies released in recent years but I absolutely loathe babadook. But holy ****, this movie seems to be shaping up to become one of my favs as well.
