I resisted. It was so good! And that ending!!!! I can see why these episodes so far would have been good back to back with how connected they all are (and I assume the next two are also). I'm going to resist still though.

The only thing I hate about Barn Mates and sorry to sound.. SJW.. was Amethyst calling the Rubies dumb.. Like.. It felt extremely mean and unnecessary.

hey guys, huge Steven Universe fan here , i binged all the episodes last summer, then i fell in love. it's truly the most addicting kids show right now (along with Gumball) !!

i guess it felt a bit weird, Amethyst used to be my favourite gem, she had the BEST episodes: Maximum capacity (when Steven saw Amethist shapeshifted as his mom, it was awfully heartbreaking ), and the "No Home Boys" one The last Amethyst focused episode was Onion Friend, while good, it was not a standout compared to the others, lately now that they're focusing on Peridot's redemption and lapis, its feels like she's only used for "Filler-ish commentary???", but i trust the brilliance of Rebecca Sugar and Co, and they never dissapoint.

I just wanna say the new episodes are completely great, i'm amazed at the quality of the writing. thank god the show's back.

out of the crystal gem fusions that we haven't seen, i wonder which ones will probably be shown at some point. so far, we haven't seen rose × garnet, rose × amethyst, rose × garnet × pearl, rose × garnet × amethyst, and rose × pearl × amethyst. i don't think we'll see any separate ruby or sapphire fusions, sadly.

yeah, p much all of the crystal gems have their development take a backseat during the barn arc aside from the one episode they each had, but they should start getting more episodes focused on them soon. amethyst in particular seems to have an arc focused on her, based on the leaked episode titles.

Oh wow - I never realised we had a SU thread on here!

In the last week I've binged the last 20-30 episodes and am now fully caught up (I started watching the show ages ago now, but Adventure Time kinda got in the way, as did other things so I've only been able to fully catch up now).

Wow this show is amazing, I can't believe how good it repeatedly gets.

I loved the S3 episodes, I'm excited to see where it all goes next. Does anyone know when regular episodes resume again? I was researching on reddit and stuff earlier and from what I can see 'Summer of Steven' will be airing June-August? Was the most recent episode (Steven floats) the first ep of that? Anyway yeah do we know when episodes are going to begin again?

Garnet is my favourite btw! Estelle is wonderful

the amazon description for season 3 says

apparently zap2it has "steven floats" listed to air on the 29th (which is a wednesday. kinda odd, but w/e), so new episodes are coming soon it seems!

i kinda wanna see a new fusion soon tbh. the last one we got was sardonyx nearly a year ago.

This is bad scheduling for sure but you don't know terrible scheduling unless you were a Gravity Falls fan. That was torture. Hopefully we will get a lot of episodes over a good length of time this summer! They have a solid back log of episodes they can tap into!
