Okay so now I've got two verses that work well (aside from one line that's a syllable short) and a concept similar to my original, but I need to come up with a great chorus to tie it all together. Hm.
"Wow, you really don't care about your child, do you?
"Excuse me?"
"Come on, you gave your child up for adoption."
"And?"
"Well...you know what they say about adoption, don't you?"
"Like what?"
"That it makes children form identity crises and gives them abandonment issues."
"AND that it's made from corn, has no artificial ingredients, and is safe in moderation?"
"...LOVE that top!"
"Thanks!"
"Hahahahahahahaha"
*evil faces*
Adoption: Get the facts! You're in for a sweet surprise!
I'm writing a song rn where literally all I have is the melodies for the verse and prechorus
But I know as soon as I get a chorus melody I know everything else will fall into place. I want to call it "Home Alone" but then make it a U + Ur Hand type bop and surprise people
