I'm gonna be real. Nicki could release a full RAP album, get an 80 on Metacritic and still have it lose to another man at the Grammys.
However, if Nicki were to truly experiment like how Kendrick did with TPAB, or even how the girl who released that Lemonade album did, THAT would garner legitimate attention from the masses and would gain her more respect than a full RAP album, and you guys know it's the truth.
An experimental album =/= a Pop album, but a full RAP album does exclude tracks like TCG, or even Mona Lisa and co, which are things Nicki has never done before.
Yes, I know she hasn't released a full RAP album before, but now is the time to go even greater.
Rap is capitalized because I think there's a disconnect between Rap and Hip-Hop. Views is a Hip-Hop album. TPP is a Hip-Hop album for all intents and purposes. But I think this argument is more about a full Rap album a la PIO, no?
