And Bernie is a Democrat at heart. That's why he's voted with them like 90% of the time.

A liberal and a Democrat are two different things. Thought you understood this, since you're in favor of Independents (i.e. not Democrats) voting in the primaries.

That's why I added the disclaimer "if she doesn't pick Sanders".
Are there any well known progressives other than Warren and Sanders that Bernie supporters still respect? Maybe Jeff Merkley of Oregon? Oregon has a Dem governor and he is so far the only Dem Senator to Endorse Sanders. Maybe Tulsi Gabard?

It actually does mean something.
Saying "let's unite!!" doesn't do anything, while raising money for them to help them win does. He's uniting with other Democratic candidates in down-ticket races to take down the Republicans; not sure how you can spin this

A couple months ago:
CNN’s JAKE TAPPER: “And you said it was allowed, too.”
HILLARY CLINTON: “Yes, it was.”
TAPPER: “Who allowed it?”
CLINTON: “It was allowed under the rules of the state department. And, again…”
TAPPER: “So nobody signed off on it?”
CLINTON: “No, it was allowed.”
The State Department today: "No it wasn't." She never asked, and had she done so she would have been denied".

Yes, it is. Bringing up the possibility of an assassination as a reason for not dropping out of the race is a lot different from insinuating he would be assassinated. I mean, come on, you can't honestly believe that Hillary was willing Obama to be assassinated? Because that seems to be the underlying issue with regards to bringing this up at all.

Sherrod Brown, Warren, Sanders and Gabbard are the only ones I can think of being "hip" with the millennials.

" For example, the Department and OIG both determined that the production included no email covering the first few months of Secretary Clinton’s tenure—from January 21, 2009, to March 17, 2009, for received messages; and from January 21, 2009, to April 12, 2009, for sent messages. OIG discovered multiple instances in which Secretary Clinton’s personal email account sent and received official business email during this period. For instance, the Department of Defense provided to OIG in September 2015 copies of 19 emails between Secretary Clinton and General David Petraeus on his official Department of Defense email account; these 19 emails were not in the Secretary’s 55,000-page production. "

OMG, she out right tried to erase emails! Lies being exposed all over the place today.

? No, not quite. What he is (and has been) doing is perpetuating an "us vs. them" mentality. Establishment vs. Progressives. Saying "let's unite!!" won't do much, you're correct. However, does he talk about how the party needs to come together? No. Does he say with conviction that he will endorse Hillary in the general? No. Does he say with conviction that he will rally his supporters to do the same? No.
Him "uniting" with eight democrats is different than him working to unite his wing and supporters with the Democratic party. He is dividing the party. I know you're smarter than this.

So the only way you can be a "Democrat at heart" is by actually being a Democrat?
Democrats lean to the left and support civil rights. Bernie leans to the left and supports civil rights.

If we follow Harry Reid's advice, then that leaves Sanders and Gabbard...

A liberal and a Democrat are different things. You do not need to be a Democrat to be a liberal. Him officially registering as a Democrat in November 2015 makes him a very weak "Democrat". Hell, I've been a Democrat considerably longer than him and he's been in politics longer than I've been alive. He's not a Democrat at heart. He may align more with the party (given how insane the other option is), but he still is not a true Democrat. You can't talk about how corrupt and evil a party is and then say you're a part of that party at heart. Doesn't work like that.

I'm really interested in seeing who HRC's VP will be. I just know it won't be BS. My oh my, such appropriate initials.

Shame on ANY democrat for feeding into these transparent GOP attacks on Hillary.

Tulsi Gabbard creeps me out. She reminds me of this character from SVU who was like this crazed, sociopath Veteran on a killing spree. She looks a lot like her so I always think of the character when I see her.

Hillary claimed she only deleted personal emails, but they just found several business emails that she didn't turn over even correspondence with other secretaries. She has to be guilty of at least perjury at this point.

I'd love Michelle Obama to be the vice president. What a brilliant President she would be! Shame she's not interested in politics.
As it stands, Elizabeth Warren would be my choice. I've got a horrible feeling that she might choose someone to the right of her though which would be a disastrous decision.

Uh, yeah, kind of There are plenty of people who lean to the left and support civil rights who do not call themselves Democrats. Let's try not to forget that Bernie was one of these people not too long ago. Having a certain belief system does not mean you are a part of a party. A party is something you actually need to be an active member of. Again, a liberal and a Democrat are two different things.
And no, Hillary "and the establishment" are not doing the same thing. Hillary has said time and time again, that just like in 2008, if she lost the nomination she would rally people for Bernie. She's definitely not perpetuating and us vs. them scenario and you know it. Stop saying things for the sake of saying things.
