(Dont) Wannabe is special to me bc the lyrics were v applicable when I first heard it. Being upset because a man says he wants love but doesn't want yours, and you can't accept just being his friend. It's similar to Your Type in that sense.
The only three 2016 albums I've listened to are Beyoncé, Bowie, and Josef Salvat.
Bowie's is the best, but I only really care for half of it.
Salvat's is really good, but I only listen to a few songs with any regularity.
Lemonade is bland, uninteresting, and unrelatable, and I don't use it.
At least Tegan & Sara and Brandy Clark are coming. Thank god for lesbians!
I need to come up with a new idea for this round because the original one that I had is not panning out as I'd hoped.
The concept is great, the execution is awful.
The only fallback plan I had was "Disneyesque love theme." Welp. I guess PH9 is my Showgirl era.
Haven't heard anything in full. What I've heard of Lemonade is garbage tho, and Dangerous Woman has at least 2 good tracks. ANTi's tracks that I've heard are either garbage (Work, Kiss it Better, Needed Me) or ok (Love on the Brain).
2015's trinity is Storyteller - 25 - Piece by Piece
If you think that they add to the lyrics, go for it. If you think they're more for your sake or don't really emphasize the lyrics as opposed to the sound, I wouldn't include them.
25 was good at first, but very bland and with not much replay value. It's technically a good album, but not one that I enjoy listening to often, whereas there are more tracks on 19 and 21 that I still revisit now.
