The "tied" thing was created by the person who makes this map because they wanted to discredit Hillary's close wins. It's very ironic considering their stated purpose for making this map was to show the primary without bias

It's stated on their image. They consider it a "tie" if the delegate gap is two or less. It's just a way to discredit Hillary's close wins, as I said in my other post

Oh hey! I haven't heard back yet actually - they told me to sit tight while they review the apps. It's only been six days now so I understand, and they sent the email that said "We'll be in touch soon with more details regarding your application, so don't worry if you don't hear anything immediately!" just on Saturday.

I'm excited and hopeful! Thank you for the interest and the compliments!

In-state was my first choice; I really want to stay in Iowa because I have another job here and I noted that in my application. But I'm also willing to go out to Illinois and Wisconsin for the summer.

I also really want to stay in Iowa because it's a swing state and it's somewhere I can make a tangible difference, both in keeping Democrats in the party (rather than switching to Green) and in incentivizing turnout.

There's a lot of work that I see could be done in Iowa. There's a brilliant campaign staff for her here, though, and they've worked so hard - being able to join them in the general would be amazing.

Oh, and if they do have me in any capacity, you can bet I'll be back around for round two in 2020!

I think another great option for you would be looking into the Iowa Democratic Party as well. HFA has started to shift towards a coordinated campaign with state democratic parties, and what you want to get out of it sounds more in line with that. So I would also submit a resume to them tbh. Even though HFA in general >>>>>> but still its about the work & outcome.
