Gen III's true saving grace for me was FR/LG, I really wasn't a fan of Hoenn until ORAS but I did like...the aesthetics of it from the sprites and everything.

Honestly I mostly rate my Gens depending on how much fun I had with them. Gen IV, VI, and III I rate as my top 3 because I played with the most people.

Gen II and I are kinna irrelevant honestly since they're just so old and their remakes are there.

Gen V is just filth.

I always fall behind in levels before the E4 in RSE, except I usually have several Poke's in the 30s at this point, looks like you're doing p well to me!

This level grinding in Victory Road is TORTURE though.

It could be days before I'm ready for the E4. And before I actually battle them, after level grinding, I have to go get Ice Beam for Walrein and Dragon Claw for Flygon! Mess.

And I just realized that in the 13 years Hoenn has been a thing, I've never beaten the Hoenn Elite Four without a legendary, so this will finally be a real challenge. I've beaten the Indigo Plateau (both Kanto and Johto versions) and Sinnoh League without legendaries but that's it.
