Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Kalos are amazing regions. I never fully explored Kanto and barely touched Johto. And I never messed with Unova at all (I skipped gen 5).

Alola has the potential to be the best region yet, but the actual Pokémon are going to have to slay.

I actually hated the music and thought the story was way overdone. The story aspect of the games peaked in Gen IV for me, and then again with the way ORAS took RSE and went more in-depth.
