I don't care how he broke up with her, the reason why they left each other is because Katy wasn't ready to settle down and have children while he was. She was at the peak of her career and having major success.
Obviously everyone wants to settle down and be in a stable relationship but to imply that it is the only way to "win in real life" is stupid and def misogynistic if we're discussing a woman here.
