Bernie is basically campaigning for Trump at this point. Literally zero reason for him to keep going. Cruz saw the writing on the wall, but Bernie refuses to do the same.
At this point, since Trump can now get 1237 as needed, the only real question is whether Bernie will solely focus on negotiating Democratic platform points, or whether he will in some way collaborate with Jill Stein. There's an extremely low chance of Republicans offering up another candidate to run against all three (four if you count the Libertarian) or trying to nominate someone else.
Republicans nominate Paul Ryan at convention. Trump announces he will run as independent. Republicans already predicted this and have a plan in place to poison him or assassinate him because they know they don't have a chance of winning if Trump runs as independent.
