Most men in their 50’s don’t die from the flu.
Most people seen riding a bicycle on Monday, aren’t dead from the flu on Thursday.
Most people in the final stages of AIDS aren’t riding a bicycle either are they?
We are told he rejected medical treatment, but we are also told that he had been seen making runs to a local pharmacy to pick up bags of prescriptions.

It might be a little while before we learn the truth.

AIDS can kill slowly but it rises the chances of a subtle death. There isn't literally a exact form of death from AIDS. It can cause everything because the imune system is weak. Like they said he had a flu and that would be enough if he really had aids.
