I think there is a limitation in time. I don't know what time frame it is exactly : between 6 months and a year maybe. Because I remember some critics re-reviewed B'Day one year after the album was released and changed their scores to highly positive but it didn't count.

Yeah, it's way less sexual than ST too, and the reviewers (mostly men) probably feel less threatened by that.

I mean, it still has its explicit, sexual moments but they're less about her pleasure and more about sexual revenge/infidelity/suffering. It's kinda disturbing that they'd be more receptive to that but that's a whole other can of worms smh
