Like, she was a huge part of peoples childhood and she's one of the few child stars that was able to keep it together but I don't see GP lining up in droves to buy tickets to her concert or radio being excited about playing her new single. Like I don't get what people expected, her audience moved on years ago.

Not true. "Chasing The Sun" peaked in the 70's completing because of word-of-mouth and buzz from her not releasing a proper single in 8 years. I believe a properly promoted single would have done fine. She would have gotten another Top 40 hit with any kind of promotion. JUSTICE FOR "MY KIND" TBH.
