When i was watching the pre legend battle cut scene for X&Y i was like omg where are we going now, turns out we weren't going anywhere & i'm suppose to catch it already. Throughout the battle, i thought Xerneas would run away, but no. I caught it on my second Ultra Ball. Throwback to RSE, i used over 40 UBs to catch rayquaza (I used my master on groudon
)
Then i spent the next few days telling myself it was really good. B4 i realised what absolute **** the game was.
Conincidentally, this is how my feelings for Applause developed.

Ugh the plot twists in BW
When u didn't need to face the champion
When N's Castle destroyed the E4
When Zekrom flew into the room
when a N had a legend
then having to battle Ghetis
having Gym leaders & Rivals that made relevance to the plot.
They could make the gay people Fairy pokemon & their goal would be to kill all of them 
It's like they were quickly added into the game cuz they were out of time.
It was pretty damn consistent
