Why wouldn't Kiss It Better be smashing? It has a similar vibe to Dangerous Woman which is currently on the iTunes top 10 and Rihanna is supposedly a much bigger star than Ariana. It's not smashing because it's just not a good song.
Kiss It Better is doing worse than many of the ANTI album tracks on Spotify... Like I don't understand how people thought a song like KIB would smash. Some people also think she should release Love on the Brain.

She also currently has another #1 single and an urban-marketed one saturating radio. She's trying to pull another 2010/2011 with us but the thing is, we don't need multiple Rihanna singles on the radio anymore. She no longer needs to tick various boxes of pop appeal like the other girls, she's just doing herself now. Pulling KIB and letting NM dominate would be ideal...NOW.

KIB doesn't really fit on radio and it's not a song fit for streaming so I never thought it would be a smash...LOTB will do well in Europe, they like that sound. It will probably do decent in the states considering it probably won't be 1 half of a dual release. If she doesn't perform it live or give it a good video then it will suffer the same fate as KIB tho
