The term political radicalism (or simply, in political science, radicalism) denotes political principles focused on altering social structures through revolutionary means and changing value systems in fundamental ways.

I am a radical liberal and I make no bones about that fact. I am proud to say I've rediscovered the things inside me that lead me to that. If anyone's going to label me according to political beliefs, then the next label I want after "progressive" is "radical," and I'm not sorry.

But yeah, when Hillary has had to be asked in a debate "Are you a progressive?" in debates, I do t think most people see it as another term for "liberal" and I don't even think they'd want to be classified as Democrats.

If there's anyone the republicans hate more than Obama, it's Hillary.

My point is that Bernie seems to think that anyone that doesn't believe in his core message or doesn't believe that his approach is the best way to make progress is somehow not progressive enough or that they don't go far enough. We don't live in an authoritarian society where a leader gets his way all the time so it matters that the President actually has a plan to get things done and actually has relationships within Congress that they can work in order to get key legislation passed. And I absolutely believe the Republicans would be more willing to work with Hillary than Bernie because for one, here positions aren't as far left as his and secondly, she has worked with Republicans in the passed on a number of issues. Yeah they love to beat up on her during the campaign season but they have worked with her time and time again which is why she was such a successful Senator.

Any Dem that gets elected will have a hard time but Hillary is better suited to the deal with the Republicans than Bernie is in my opinion

I'd read an interesting article a few years back about how there are two types of agents of change - Reformists & Radicals. I suppose I'd fall under Reformist. And that's where I'd but Hillary & Liz, too.

Yeah no one is talking about "political radicalism". I'm talking directly about regular old radicalism that leads to thought processes beyond the point of regular logic and reasoning and tosses it into the realm of delusion.

This is something I've been seeing moreso this election cycle with Progressives than back in 2012 or even 2008. You're free to disown them based on your own ideals and interpretation of it but they still exist, are in respected, and high spots in the movement. You can be a progressive in your ideals and not be in the Progresive movement and the system that is in play now.

As for working with the republicans, I do believe Hillary will have a more productive Presidency. Even someone on TYT said they think Hillary will be better at fighting with and standing up to them and I happen to agree. And on working with them, Hillary actually has personal relationships with a lot of these people. More so than I've seen with Bernie and Obama. It's not just a talking point that most Republicans praise her while in office, it's hard fact. Newt Gingrich has come out and praised her Alzheimers plan, for example.

I don't know why you'd be scared of that. People have different beliefs. This isn't a new concept.
