I feel like Miley despite her hits wasn't considered a major pop girl till she was able to hold people's attention with a successful world your. Meghan will never have that

i mean Britney wouldn't sell much now with her early stuff for example.
It works both ways, Katy, Rihanna and most of the pop girls wouldn''t smash with the music they're releasing right now if they released back in late 90's/early 00's.

Ariana is not a major superstar comparable to Britney, Beyonce... even Xtina by her 3rd album era. Don't even try it sis.
Social media gave longetivity to stars. It made their fan bases bigger and their influence broader. People are ready to listen to other artists in general but last decade's superstars are still way too present to let new acts rise.
Here I was reading through this entire thread, 8 pages in, wondering if someone was going to bring her up. People in here bringing up Halsey, M-Train, Ari, but no Lana, when Lana's sold more albums and is more global than all of them.
The more that I listen to "NO" (which I have grown to really love) the more that I realize that Meghan does have what it takes to reach "major pop girl" level.
