So only people who are able to spell correctly are allowed to have an opinion?

I mean, while I can't vouch for the intentions of that poster, is it not problematic to refer to undocumented immigrants as "illegals," and further problematic to suggest that Trump's wall must be built to "keep them out?" I agree we should be mindful of neurodiversity, but had he spelled that word properly, the post would still make sense.

I mean, the ignorant statement should be the focus. I don't get why the spelling really matters, given the valid above points Sasha made about that part. Let's focus on the fact that the statement is the issue.

Wait, that's the quote? He didn't even mention Hillary?

No, but making fun of someone for misspelling a word is completely irrelevant to the issue at hand. Attack the racism instead.

Actually, it would be xenophobia, not racism.

This is a two-person race, with only one Democrat opposing Sanders. Additionally, those are common criticisms leveled toward Hilary. As general as the statement is, the intent is clear.

Well, the Donald himself appears to be both, and therefore his supporters are supporting both a racist and a xenophobe, so while you're right it's a rather moot point.

It was a general statement! Bernie is promoting a revolution that doesn't start and end in the white house. They want to get rid of all the corporate money in politics. If you think Hillary falls under the beholden politicans then that's on you I guess? She has promised over and over that she's not in bed with corporations or big money, so this doesn't apply to her.

Nope, entirely on him. He and his campaign have consistently accused her of being beholden to other interests. Additionally, I don't accept the claim that he's promoting a revolution that goes anywhere beyond the White House - he might have acknowledged throughout the campaign that his proposals need down-ballot reform to pass at all, but he's failed to demonstrate any commitment to down-ballot Democratic or liberal support.

Um, given the sarcasm I'm not sure whether you need me to clarify, but the context here is a campaign rally that (while for Bernie) is essentially against his opponent. His opponent is Hillary. The context still clearly shows its direction toward her.

I know what Donald is, but she wanted to focus on what semantics of the sign's words, so I felt it was important to clarify what he actually was trying to say.

He was clearly talking about Hillary. Did he say she was personally a "*****"? Probably not. But he was definitely talking about her in the sense of her being establishment that does not serve the people, but corporations. Basically Bernie's message, but in a not so subtle way.
You're foolish if you think otherwise. Just like you would be foolish to think the murder comment wasn't about Benghazi.

Maybe Bernie and Trump can share an independent ticket after they lose their respective nominations. It would be an anti-establishment wet dream.
