Wonder Woman has to make a billion to be successful if they spend $400 mil on it the way they supposedly did on this including marketing and such.

Which is why they shouldn't. It was a bad idea to spend so much on the second installment of a "cinematic universe." Look at Marvel under Disney; even their more modest hits are seen as successes because they don't break the bank.
And certainly Deadpool wouldn't come off as such a behemoth if its budget wasn't so comparatively tiny.

Anything above 500 millions for WW is success. You're delusion if you think 1 billion is possible. 700 millions is still one hell of big task. As a superhero solo movie only Batman & Spiderman can do that, while Ironman 3 & Cap 2 need a massive boost from The Avengers and Deadpool is an exception

The Avengers - $1.5b
Avengers: Age of Ultron - $1.4b

The Dark Knight Rises - $1.08b
The Dark Knight - $1.004b

Only FIVE comic book films have reached 1 billion worldwide so I don't see how Wonder Woman has to make a billion dollars to be a success.Not all other comic book films are not flops, it just depends on the overall production/marketing budget and what not.

Honestly, as long as she makes 700m worldwide with a sizable budget, WW will be fine.

Plus she'll have the benefit of hindsight from BvS and a different director. So it shouldn't suffer the same fate.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN is the 8th highest grossing superhero flick ever, passing SPIDER-MAN 2, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, DEADPOOL & X-MEN: DOFP.

WW total actual is $784.3 million. Will probably pass 800m by the weekend, 900m probably won't happen unfortunately but we'll see how it holds.

I finally came around to watching this and LMAO, it was one of those movies that is so bad that it's good.

First of all they should of just called it another Superman movie which would've been awesome since Superman and Wonderwoman saved the movie.
The first half of the movie was a giant mess. I have never seen a movie with so many random rushed scenes at once just to fit everything in there. So so messy, that I can't believe it was released.
Ben Affleck as Batman is the biggest WTF ever. I couldn't get past his damn goofy face, I mean how can he be taken seriously as Batman, he wasn't believable one bit and that damn terminator costume was ****. What was the director thinking? I feel like it was supposed to be a Batman/Superman movie but he realized how ****** Batman's character was that he just focused on the amazing Superman.

The actor that played Lex Luther is the biggest douche bag in real life and he was way too over the top with his acting. It came across as cringey and annoying.
Alfred was the biggest mess. Since when is he a mechanic also? He seemed more like his college buddy than his butler. He would actually make a better Batman.

Wonderwoman gave me chills when I saw her picture I started shaking because I avoided all spoilers so I had no idea she was gonna be revealed. She was the best part of the movie along with the beauty of Henry Cavill.

As bad as it was I was super entertained so I give it a 7/10.

The armored Batman suit was in the comics. And I thought Ben Affleck's Bruce/Batman was excellent.

Maybe the Blu-ray/DVD sales will push it to over $900 million total. Idk if that will count though.

I'm sure BvS will do well on video with the R rated cut coming out. Honestly WB should've kept their marketing budget to themselves cause no one else really puts their marketing budget out there but they did and now the media is using that against them.
