you need to get into J-pop.
what i love about it over k-pop is that it truly does sound like a distinct genre of its own whereas k-pop has been rehashing western music for years.
also j-pop sounds and feels a lot more organic and real.
there are aritsts like Perfume that have their voice over processed etc but they do that for their artistic vision not because it is the standard unlike with k-pop tbh.
