what did they sing? there was rumours that she was doing a covers and duets albums throughout the mid 90s. Some tracks came out on other CDs (Endless Love, Without You) but it seems the rumour might have some truth when you see this and the Michael Bolton snippet leak. There was also meant to be a studio version of I'll Be There.

Oh wow really? It makes sense since I also remember hearing she collaborated with Prince and Lauryn Hill, and allegedly Michael Jackson too. Hopefully she releases them as a duet compilation album or something one day.

Her voice was so naturally powerful and resonant, but the constant straining with the belts to match the studio versions has ruined her voice. And the sad thing is she still does this today at times

Mariah Carey is being sued by her stepfather, who says the singer is an ungrateful, reneging whelp who has broken up his marriage to her mother.

Joseph Vian of New York is seeking an unspecified cut of Carey's earnings, claiming he helped make her a Grammy-winning success by taking her to auditions, setting her up in an apartment, paying for dental work and giving her financial and emotional support.Vian says Carey had verbally promised him a share of her income but a Carey spokesman said the claims are without merit.

Vian married Carey's mother, Patricia, in 1988 but says the singer encouraged her mother to commit adultery and Patricia is now divorcing him.
