I think it depends on the type of relationship. Some couples are just really interested in sex and it holds the relationship together. No idea if it's healthy or not but my aunt & uncle have been together for almost 30 years and they're extremely sexually active, enough for me to know.

Condoms come in sealed packages & are extremely difficult to open; I highly doubt anybody would be able to do something like that.

Fun fact, a significant minority of unwanted pregnancies are caused by the couple being too drunk to open the package during intercourse.
