Artists with multiple iconic hits (but lukewarm careers)?
Artists with multiple known hits (keyword, known, not big sellers specifically, that's irrelevant here) that are still underrated as artists and/or didn't receive much commercial success?
His discography is great (ESPECIALLY his first 3 albums, which are damn near masterpieces) but only 2 of his album have scanned Gold and the rest were 100% flops. But he's still great.
