PillowTalk's success was mostly just hype initially but then just stuck with the GP
The other singles are either not that good or not GP friendly. He also released a promo single a week after PT and then a few more soon after so people and radio probably got confused as to what his next single actually is.
His album's low debut is due to people only knowing PT and the face his fanbase is not as big as 1D's so a drop from their numbers was expected.
