Tinashe sounds like a slew of other artists before her. In fact, I'd argue Rihanna did "Tinashe" before Tinashe herself with Skin. Let's not act like Tinashe is influential enough to have an entire sub-genre coined to her name when she's basically a nobody.
Has anyone else noticed the lazy structure in some Anti songs?
The songs are so good that I didn't notice so many of them are very lazy.
I mean, a ton of the songs are just 2-3 minutes instead of being real, full songs.
And as for the ones that ARE full songs?
Desperado, Kiss It Better and Never Ending all have the same lyrics in both verses...

Most sub-genres are created or brought to the forefront by 'nobodies.'
Anti is one of my favorite albums released this year, but that's the one song on the album, that I just don't get the love for.

The chorus especially doesn't catch on to me as much. Like nice trap beats & all but other than that, I don't see the appeal. I think it sounded better during her live tour performances though, i'll give her that.
