I'm actually going to talk about how controversial I think this album might the same amount Sammi posts the same old tripe about how much they hate trap music and will hate B if she has a trap album.. so that would be every damn day.

if you want to be pessimistic, go somewhere else. it's one thing to be realistic and not get delusional or whatever but always trying to down people's sprits is just tiring at this point.

The Formation performance was one of Bey's best and easily the most memorable part of the whole Superbowl, game included. the ****

I don't disagree with that.

I suppose that's subjective though. I'm sure you disagree.

She nearly fell and played it off in a way that most couldn't. a lot of people didn't even notice.
but the way she bounced and then got right back up and hit all the moves like it was part of it was amazing. the little dance breakdown before the fall when she had just gotten on stage was EVERYTHING.

I have a strong feeling this album will be free; shes be pushing 'what is a successful' single for ages.. she goes for high impact, low sales and low promo
I think she might take this over to albums, deliver something that is just really cutting edge, politically and musically and just put it out for free... it will have undeniable impact, but won't chart, won't be eligible for grammys.. maybe trying to push people and industry to rethink how we evaluate and award great art...
just a sneaky feeling

Her Superbowl performance, which was average by her standards, didn't do her any favours either.

Beyoncé will be fine. If Formation turned a lot of people off, she gained lots of people too and their respect. That song did wonders for her in so many aspects. Even if she gets the lowest debut of her career, she'll have longevity on her side, as she always has.

What exactly did she do between releasing BEYONCÉ and now for so many of you to expect only negative outcomes, not have faith in her, and nitpick so much? At the end of the day, it just seems like a lot of you are biting your nails at the thought of her next album not being commercially successful, critically acclaimed, et cetera; and that's why the constant complaints about the album possibly being urban/trap, the album tackling heavy topics, and anything that goes against the fickle GP's interest are happening so frequently. Get over yourselves.

after i just spent 805.00 on beyhive ticket I'm entitled to my opinion. I dont think doing a whole entire political album is the route she needs to go right now. Who said anything about the GP?

I didn't say I care if she gets low sales. I'm just pointing out the facts. She did gain a lot of respect, particularly from the black community. However, it's mainly the white community that buy music. Formation turned a lot of people off, I can guarantee you that. Maybe not even the video, but the song. It's not her best work, let's be honest. It doesn't even sound like coherent English for half of it. Same with 7/11.
And before anyone quotes me with the, 'oh stop bringing negativity into the base, you're so dumb LOL, gtfo', get a life. We are not one collective mind, we all have different opinions on things. I'm expressing mine. You're not going to silence me just because you disagree.

then why are you pretending to stan? Take her out ur sig, ur avi etc and it's all good. Don't pretend to be a "fan" and at the same time talk so negatively about her art.
