The problem with BvS (and MoS) is that Snyder takes himself and these movies way too seriously. He tried to follow Nolan's trilogy, but not only does he not have the talent and vision to do so, but also Nolan's trilogy was in a completely different level from normal superhero movies. The reason why people love The Avengers and Marvel movies so much is simply because they're fun. No one if here for this grim existential crap in blockbuster superhero movies. They wanna go to the theater and have a good time.
