He doesn't understand why there are sanctions against Gaza, he doesn't understand how Hamas has inflated their death counts in contrast to the Israelis by hiding weapons in highly populated areas and schools/hospitals.
Yes, a two-state solution is ideal. But that is not possible AT THE MOMENT as the population is more brainwashed than the North Koreans and Hamas would need to be toppled before a two state solution is feasible. Israel knows what it's doing. The only thing I can possibly agree with Bernie on is the terrible treatment of the West Bank by Netanyahu. Other than that, I disagree with him on pretty much everything Israel related. Funny, 'cause we're both Jewish.
Take this from someone whose family is Israeli and whose significant other is Lebanese with close ties to Palestine. Not from the liberal media who is blindly pro-Palestine or the conservative media who thinks all Muslims are evil. Both sides have faults but Israel is doing its best to protect its people and coerce the Palestinians into change. Bernie's solution would wind up in a Middle Eastern version of NK.
