not yet. I can see it now. Donald announces on Twitter that only a few thousand people were dumb enough to fall for his antics and that's why he lost the election.
This is how I think the parties should line up, from conservative to liberal. All of these would be more liberal socially, but vary on everything else.
Libertarians (very conservative, want as little government as possible)
Republicans (moderately conservative, want low taxes, but larger government than the libertarians)
Democrats (centrists, similar to Hillary and Obama)
Progressives/Liberals (moderately liberal)
Green (very liberal)
I'd place Bernie in the Progressive party, but he would work in the Green party as well.

On gun control and immigration Bernie Sanders' position is not much different than Donald's if you take away the wall and the religion test.

Flagstaff, Arizona: Bernie Sanders Calls Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio 'Un-American' at Rally
"What he is doing is un-American and uncivilized," Sanders said at the Thursday rally after discussing the conditions at an outdoor jail, news outlets reported.
He went in HARD. Looks like some GOP there will come for him instead of Hillary.
