Serious is one of the best songs on LAMB, and Danger Zone was one her only solo songs that has that signature No Doubt type sound. It's excellent! The Real Thing is an 80's synth masterpiece of a ballad. I don't understand anyone's hatred for any of these songs...

I dislike ND and Beacon Street. I don't even count Beacon Street as an official album. More of a mixtape. They wanted to release donned that their label had no desire to release and went against the label and released beacon street. That's why I consider it as an mixtape.

Well to be fair, never liked many ND songs, maybe that's why. I grew up listening to the Singles album.

Haha I got you. I liked Danger Zone cause it sounded like something that would've been on Rock Steady. It wouldn't surprise me if it were actually a demo from that era.

I need a new No Doubt album soon. Asides from LAMB (which I'd rank above Rock Steady and the early albums, but below Tragic Kingdom, ROS, and P&S), I typically prefer her material with them. It really is a shame that P&S got such a raw deal. Such a great album.

I wouldn't expect that anytime soon. Aren't they doing their own thing with another lead? Also, whatever happened to the music No Doubt said they were working on before Gwen started her solo album?

I don't know. I hope it leaks someday if they decided to scrap it all. She seemed so sure of a new ND album in interviews last year and now it seems kind of dicey.

I swear I remember back during the Push & Shove era that they mentioned already starting work on a new album and then I never heard anything else before Gwen went solo. I hope they do something soon.

I think they were playing around with some song ideas but were mostly hitting their heads against the wall creatively, esp. Gwen considering shortly after she was just letting other people write all the 2014 session songs...


I mean most of NDs music and her solo stuff comes from her songwriting so if shes blocked up, everybody suffers. That probably sucks so bad for her.

There's some mix of Wind It Up I've looked for for years that had the Neptunes Mix and the regular and it was more bass heavy and idek but it seriously slayed. Like....serious.
