Now to make an example of you, the reason that BLM doesn't specifically protest black-on-black violence is because the majority of the time, the black man or woman responsible for the crime receives punishment. Conversely, when a white cop kills a black person with overwhelming proof of their guilt, they aren't indicted, get GoFundMe's started, and get paid leave, leaving the victim with no justice.

Then bring up that cop when that happens. However, the entire BLM movement has had people come up and ask me if cops have ever harassed me because it has tried to demonize cops. I grew up in a neighborhood where cops are every 10 houses apart from each other. There obviously awful cops, but you cannot demonize an entire group of people in the way BLM has. It builds on the age-old distrust between the police and the AA community.
Of course, there is obvious acts of violence and abuse of it between cops and members of the AA community. But, we should be working on building diplomacy rather than hatred, that's my opinion. And, you're pretty childish for explaining my difference of opinion as just me being ignorant. I may have had an entirely different black experience growing up, but to shun me for having a different opinion is practically the only defense I hear from BLM advocates and it makes people like myself dislike the movement that much more. It just hurts the cause more than anything else.
