My parents adore the Clintons, older people praise them. I know these are just anecdotes, but if the only Latinos STANNING (not just giving some claps, but super fans) for Bernie are the youth here in California then he's in trouble. The lazyassness will dim his revolution.

What does that even mean? What kind of source is this?
So because a beloved figure like Nelson Mandela favored some of Castro's policies it makes Bernie's praises okay? No, it just makes them both wrong. It doesn't make Bernie or Nelson bad figures or horrid people, just wrong about Fidel Castro and what he did for the Cuban community.
Wrong again. The point I am making is that Bernie is not alone in this. While it may not be good for optics, he is able to recognize the good things that a leader did for his country. Clearly, Mandela went to an even further extent by befriending Castro. But I don't think anything in Bernie's statement implies that he looks up to Castro or that he wants to implement those policies the exact same way in America. We are taking this moment of what seemingly looks like Bernie praising Castro completely and running with it.
You can apply this logic to so many things. I think war is terrible and unnecessary about 99.9% of the time, but there is no doubt that past wars have had the ability to supercharge the economy. Does this mean I support wars? No. Does this mean I recognize their positive impacts? Yes.
Brainwashed right-wing brain: He loves Communism and endorses Castro.
Logical brain: You cannot invade countries just because you don't like their political system, if they don't represent a real threat to yours. Political systems have their good things and bad things, but it's up to the people to raise up against the injustice. Invading country after country is not the correct way to go.
