I know he'll do the standard endorsement if he drops out but I hope he doesn't hop on her campaign. It's not what his message is about. As similar as they seem to be, they're pretty different candidates. Personally, it wouldn't convince me to vote for her at all.

Trump will probably completely break the system. But for some that's better than settling with more years of the corrupt, stagnant system we have now.

And by system I don't mean changing the way Congress works or rewriting the Constitution. I'm mainly talking about getting rid of the establishment so the people actually have a voice again.

It's spring break next week at a few colleges around the state too. A few schools in Michigan were on spring break this week so it might help him.

I haven't Johnson mentioned once on any Bernie site/article/etc. I don't think they'll vote for a fiscal conservative, but who knows.

People do have a voice, and a majority of Democratic voters have chosen Hillary so far. Perhaps I just don't understand the romanticizing of some nonexistent bygone era when "the little guy" ever truly had a "voice" LOL. We are a representative democracy. Electing Bernie (or Trump) is not going to give the average Joe any more of a voice than they already have right now.

I'm interested to see what happens in South Florida. Hillary is expected to win because of the minority population but Bernie has been down there for a few days now and he just proved that his minority support is increasing.

No you're right I'm not being dismissive of TYT for their program, it's just they do have a clear bias towards one particular candidate compared to more neutral sources like CNN, AP, etc. They definitely give a different outlook on the same race though and it's interesting to see. Well, he also hasn't gained the nomination yet as McAfee is a huge threat. However, McAfee has such a sketchy history that he'd turn away the vast majority of voters. If Johnson wins the nomination I have a feeling that he could easily win a lot of Bernie supporters who want major change.

Really think Hillary would be fine in a general against Trump.

Yeah, and Cuban Americans are majority Republicans. They ran away from communism so hearing that Bernie is a "socialist" probably gives them heart attacks. (I know they're not the same, but they're often conflated.)

There is also a large Jewish population, which could help Bernie. I believe most Florida Jews are Republican, though. They're different from Jewish populations in the rest of the country in that way. Edit: This info is wrong; they're mostly Democrats. Don't know where I got that from LOL

I know North Florida is extremely backwards sadly.

South Florida is the most liberal part of the state so he could do good there (Cuban Americans are just one of the numerous groups of Hispanics there, plus there's a large black Caribbean population also). There's also a big college population in Orlando since UCF (2nd largest university in the country) is there. Not sure about Tallahassee/Leon County (home of FSU & FAMU) but Gainseville (UF) could be good for him also. There's a bunch of big colleges all over the state though.

I don't think Hillary is gonna sweep here.

The biggest counties in Florida all have pretty big universities in them with the exception of Pinellas, which is basically nothing but old people anyway. Bernie needs to get them to vote.

Miami/Dade: FIU
Broward/Palm Beach: FAU
Tampa/Hillsborough: USF
Orlando/Orange: UCF
Jacksonville/Duval: UNF

Smaller counties but huge universities:
Tallahassee/Leon: FSU & FAMU
Gainesville/Alachua: UF
