The only song with a bigger difference between sales (#36) and airplay (#262) than The Sound Of Silence is Piece By Piece. But PBP only got its boost 11 days ago, so its radio is still catching up (and is nicely). TSOS has been on the Top 100 of ITunes since some time in December.

This is based on the Current All Stations + Recurrents Audience Chart. This doesn't go back all time though. However, with Country PDs constantly increasing spins and audience levels, this is probably pretty close.

Carrie Underwood's "Smoke Break" ranks in the Top 10 on both Audience and Spins, despite peaking at #2 on the weekly charts. I think she peaked under "I'm Coming Over", which is even higher. Keith Urban's "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" also peaked at #2 on Billboard less than 100k audience impressions behind Kenny Chesney's "Save It For A Rainy Day." But Urban hit #1 on Mediabase.

Since Country PD's are constantly increasing the spin totals for their biggest hits, these are probably pretty close to accurate.

What are the odds 'Heartbeat' finishes high on the y/e countdowns for Country Airplay?

I've been saving every week's airplay chart since the final Monday in September, so I will add up Smoke Break and Heartbeat in the next couple of days to get their impression totals. I'd have to add up all of them to get rankings though. If HB can keep gaining, she might can hold off Zac Brown this coming week. Given BD's EDM rhythm and voice features, I'm really surprised BD has climbed this high to begin with. ZB hade fun of Luke Bryan for "That's My Kind Of Night" in 2013, and then released something even less country than Bryan's hit.
