So the guy in the Charts section who has access to US YouTube numbers posted an update, and Work From Home got 2,283,105 US views between Friday and Tuesday. So if it finishes the week with around 2.5M YouTube views and close to 4.5M Spotify plays, that's 7M total US streams excluding Apple Music. That's pretty good

I'm not good at making exact Hot 100 predictions since I don't know the formula and I don't really follow the other nearby songs' numbers all that closely. I'm just hoping for anything other than #11 though

So I realized that since we have both the US views as of March 1st and the total views as of March 1st, I could calculate the percentage of views coming from the US. It's about 16%, so if that was relatively stable through yesterday and today, that would give the video about 3M US views (better than the 2.5M I predicted in my previous post). So that's 7.5M from YouTube and Spotify, and even though Apple Music is still relatively small, it should at least bring the total up to 8M

So the YouTube statistics were FINALLY more-or-less accurate with the view count on Tuesday  There was still a slight discrepancy, but not enough that makes it worth adjusting.

Who else is releasing other than Meghan? I know Kendrick Lamar just dropped an album, but I can't see more than one or two of his songs at most reaching the Top 10 since he's really big on Spotify, so most people will listen to the tracks there.

So for some reason when I did these calculations, I thought there were 2 more updates left for Spotify even though there's only 1  So it'd actually be 3M from YouTube + 3.7M from Spotify = 6.7M between the two. Apple Music should hopefully bump that up to around 7.2M.
Something seems off though, because two weeks ago, Cake By The Ocean got 10M streams and that got it #11 on the Streaming Songs chart. Yet WFH spent 4 (presumably 5 if it didn't suddenly drop today) days in Spotify's Top 15 and it should easily be in the Top 15 of US YouTube views as well. So unless there's just a really big difference in number of streams between #11 and #15, something's not right. Maybe I'm underestimating how many streams Apple Music contributes.

It is getting great early radio support, I'm sure helped by the cross country radio tour
Streams are great considering it has only been out a week!
iTunes may rise and fall, but it has stuff going on right now to be consistent...
