The UK has always LOVED X. With some promo over here, she'd kill it.
Why, I was @ the club over the weekend and I heard Dirrty twice. It's her signature song here.
Poor Beautiful (also a classic here, just pales in comparison to Dirrtea).

I think her team / label should really consider launching a single overseas before the album is out, to put her name back on the map. I believe her name still has power, but I also think most of her casual fans outside the US haven't really had a proper Christina single since NMT, 6 years ago (****, time flies )
Just release a single in the US to test the waters and if it starts taking off, do a little US promo and then send her straight to the UK, Aus, Germany and France.
^ Yeah, she needs to do proper promo in Europe again. UK, Germany & The Netherlands always were good markets for her just to name a few. But other than X Factor UK & Burlesque premiere she hasn't done any promo in either of those countries since Back to Basics I believe? Such a shame.
A few weeks ago I saw on this gossip tv show RTL Boulevard that her songs still are among the most performed on competition shows in the Netherlands, placing second after Adele. She's still such a vocal standard and a household name here. I believe she still has a good chance with a good material & better marketing, especially here in Europe.

Speaking on behalf of the UK, all she'd need to do to hit the top of the charts is an X Factor performance with a great song. A BBC Live Lounge performance would be the cherry on top.
I completely agree! The only problem with the European music market at the moment, is that there really isn't much space for pop girls. House music pretty much dominates the charts. But with the right song, a hit is VERY possible. Like Sander said, Europe has always been good to X.
I really hope she headlines a couple of festivals this summer.
I think this is new, I hadn't seen it before anyway. Theres some cool scenes in the trailer, also singing parts with of course the epic ANOM opening notes. She sounds good.
I her for using Fighter as an example of how incorporating attitude and rasp into your singing makes it that much more effective. That song is untouchable by ANY pop girl, alive or dead.
I remember during the live shows last year we convinced ourselves she was gonna release something..
We're finally in the homestretch.
Remember back in April of last year when she said her album was coming soon?

I'm looking at the comments of people that have signed up for her Masterclass, and I saw this. Even one of Adam's team members from season 8 signed up.
MasterClass has raised a $15 million Series B round and disclosed three previously unannounced rounds: a $4.5 million Series A and two seed rounds totalling $1.9 million. New Enterprise Associates led the Series B, Javelin Venture Partners led the Series A and Harrison Metal led the seed rounds. Other investors include Bloomberg Beta, Novel TMT Ventures, Advancit Capital, WME Ventures, Downey Ventures, Usher, Yan-David Erlich and Matthew Rutler of MX Investments. Founded in May 2015, the company is based in San Francisco.
New interview! She nows says that the album will likely be out later this year. She makes it sound like she hasn't started recording yet.

If MasterClass existed when you were starting out, whose class would you liked to have taken?
Definitely Whitney (Houston). She’s the ultimate to me. Her and Etta James, both of who are longer with us. I would want that raw grit and soul and authenticity. Etta James had such raw vocal ability and Whitney had this effortless vibrato with an amazing pop technicality.
What about now? What MasterClass would you want to take, in any discipline?
It would definitely be actors. Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet — these amazing actresses who I adore. And Charlize Theron. Sean Penn, another great actor. Acting is something I have yet to fully explore. It always fascinates me because I haven’t had a meaty role to fully sink my teeth into yet. It’s an amazing skill set to have.
So does that mean you’re looking for another acting project right now?
I would love to do another film. And there’s so much great TV out there. So, yeah definitely. Absolutely. That’s why it’s very nice to get breaks from (The Voice), so I can spend time seeing what else is out there. But first and foremost, up next for me is getting my next record finished.
You teased new music last fall. What's the latest with that?
I’ve been loosely working on it the last couple of years. But I really started toward the middle and end of last year to really buckle down and meet with new collaborators and producers, people I want to work with and people I have never worked with before. I can’t say much about it yet because I want to wait until it’s good and ready. I am working on it and will be ready when it can be the authentic masterpiece that it deserves to be. But later this year, most likely.
A guy over at ald posted this nice project he is working on, which is a timeline of Xtina's looks over the years. The B2B era looks were so flawless. Check it out:
I went through the whole thing. so interesting to see the progression in her style, especially from Stripped to B2B because they were so polar opposite to each other

I read this as 'late next year' as in 2017 for some reason and almost had a heart attack Later this year could mean anything though. nn @ 'authentic masterpiece', love ha confidence
My meltdown lasted a minute after seeing this. Now it's confirmed Mi Reflejo 2.0
New Spanish album! Multiple albums. Solo projects with incredible producers. I have a feeling that this other stuff will be released before her next English album, making the wait not so long for us.
