I wish the song had actual, meaningful content. The video is really great in many ways, but when you listen to the song alone, you realize it's largely just about how rich Bey is and how she gets to **** Jay Z. She's a singer first and foremost, not a video artist; the message should be coming from the song.
Videos are really the most impactful form of pop media these days
It isn't Poor Beyst unless Rihanna gets a #1 this era. Drunk in Love went #2 without a pop radio deal after the Grammys. Rihanna cancelled her Grammy performance. If she does not release the video soon (as in this week), it has no chance of going #1 once it starts to freefall with airplay.
Nah, she can wait two or three weeks. Airplay is still building & she's slaying Spotify.
If she releases the video & it does well in two or three weeks it can easily reach #1 unless something major happens in the meantime.
Rihanna run off to the hottest rapper in the game (that just had a massive viral hit) to launch her album. Rihanna + Drake + massive radio deal should be a certified smash. Leave Beyonce out of this. She won a long time ago.
