No one is saying that they're running a non-profit organization. I feel like that's where ya'll are trying to steer.

But it's a simple fact of life that the people who have money, are able to influence the ways in which changes come about. And this issues of race, and feminism for Beyonce, since they're...wait for it....black (and Beyonce is a woman) affects them. And it's something they want to influence.

Is that so hard to understand? People with money and status, doing things in the interest of their families and community members?

Negotiations take a while. Surely, Tidal was in the works long before the public launch. Anyway, going to a rally after the verdict is good but that still doesnt mean they arent pandering. I am sure they care about black lives and police brutality (especially Jay), but they are a careful brand who makes calculated moves. That is just reality. If they are placing themselves as the celebrity epicenter of BLM, it is for a reason.

I'm here for the Black Lives Movement or any movement that's going to further a change for a group of people, but BLM has been highly-publicized for about two years now. It doesn't need Beyoncé or any of those late-comers to push it any more further.
