If you knew Beyonce, you'd know she's a perfectionist. And that's in effect here. She's not going to put out a message without tying up all the loose ends. She's on a platform bigger than any other activist artist (i.e. Kendrick, Erykah, Kanye, etc.) and that's going to reflect in her approach.
Who else is going to drive America as a whole to re-evaluate and wrestle with the myths they've concocted about the Black Panther Movement?
Things like that.
And you say "a bunch of money being thrown around" as if it's such a trivial part of the process. If you really feel that way, there's nothing I can say that'll persuade you otherwise. Money is ESSENTIAL to the process.
