I guess I've just never liked the song. To me, it's unnecessary. It's the worst song on 4, and brings the album quality down. because LOVE ON TOP is one of the most adored song by random and casual fans ; it's the new CRAZY IN LOVE. it breathes hapiness even lip-synced; young, old, male, female, gay, straight, black, white, yellow ; everyone loves it.

BTINH is her last real pop melodic song; GP loves it here in Europe. she could do it mixed with TO THE LEFT. I'm not a fan of Start Over; just imagine the disaster it would be live. even worse than Partition & Countdown.

No prayers needed. Me and Beyoncé know the worth of the song. It may have been a single but it was swiftly forgotten by Beyoncé shortly after. It was not on the Superbowl, Revel, any of the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour editions, or The On the Run Tour. She literally stopped performing the song after 3 months of it being a single (even if some performances were aired later than that).

Are you me? This is exactly how I feel about Best Thing I Never Had. A sore in her discography and I try to forget it exists. Was SO glad she payed it dust @ the Mrs Carter Show.
